Zealous exists to support emerging creative talent, but we know we’re not the only ones! There are loads of exciting, innovative organisations out there with creativity at the heart of their values and mission. Emerging artists hold the key to a future of creativity and big ideas, and together we can unlock those doors.

Here are 5 organisations that are helping emerging artists realise their potential.


Since the Contemporary Arts Trust’s formation, it has given more than £375,000 in prizes and awards to emerging artists. Their objective is to assist deserving artists who show promise; to encourage them to remain in the arts and continue on their creative journey.

In 2014, Oaktree & Tiger launched The Ashurst Emerging Art Prize, built from a passion and desire of the gallery to help artists. The programme seeks to help emerging artists from a wide range of areas, whether that be from non-traditional career paths or under-represented countries.


The Hospital Club’s h. Club Foundation inspires, nurtures and showcases the next generation of creative talent. Since 2014 they have helped over 2000 young people realise their potential within the creative industries.

For 24 years the Arts Foundation has supported emerging talent in the arts by providing financial assistance to talented, emerging artists. One particularly strong aspect of the Arts Foundation is their Fellowship Scheme, which has awarded over £1.6m to emerging artists across multiple disciplines.
