That\u2019s how creatives feel when they read a vague brief for an open call! The more information you give, the better and more appropriate to the genre\/theme\/style your submissions will be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You might not be getting the submissions you\u2019re looking for if the people applying don\u2019t have the full picture. It\u2019s good practice to have a Frequently Asked Questions section too, to make sure the creatives have something to refer to before they come to you to ask questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Remember&#8230;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Include all the information necessary for people to submit their best work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don\u2019t avoid talking about submission fees, make it clear from the start<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include an FAQ to minimise confusion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Look your best<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Imagery is important when it comes to sharing content and spreading the word about your open call.
