A gallery that seems to be ahead of the curve, by exhibiting one artist in particular at Frieze (Alvaro Barrington) who was being shown by at least three different galleries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve featured Corvi-Mora in our monthly exhibitions rundown before, and their showing at Frieze confirmed why they\u2019re a firm favourite at Zealous. We\u2019re looking forward to checking out their next exhibition, Julian Stair\u2019s \u201cEquivalence\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curated by Jhaveri Contemporary, Hardeep Pandhal\u2019s solo presentation featured drawings, three-dimensional work and film, each employing the strategies of the graphic trickster to conjure an art of light humour and mockery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jhaveri Contemporary describes him as a lucid Dungeon Master \u2013 \u2018shorthand for anyone who controls the flow and content of the game\u2019 \u2013 and it\u2019s this frank analysis and brilliant curation that has us interested to see what Jhaveri Contemporary do next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Union Pacific exhibited an artist who questions preconceptions of cultural identity, Zadie Xa, and Xa\u2019s presentation from Union Pacific was dynamic in form. Essentially a live theater set, the team at Union Pacific were energising the spaces over the course of the fair by constantly changing its layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The constant shift affects the viewer\u2019s perspective of Xa\u2019s work and in doing so asks bigger questions about just how quick we can be to ascribe a cultural identity to an individual. This brilliant collaboration has us eager to see more from Union Pacific and what projects they will exhibit next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Native Informant shape their program spectacularly, as we found out from seeing artists Flo Brooks, Morag Keil and Sean Steadman presented at Frieze. If you take a look at their timeline you\u2019ll see a brilliantly curated set of exhibitions and we\u2019re excited to go and see every single one of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the display at Frieze is anything to go by, they should be something special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
