The photographs make visible what it means to be a gendered body in a time of pandemic and reveal a systematic failure to address gender in the global pandemic response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vibrant, dynamic, and defiant, the works disrupt gender blindness and demand to be seen despite the gender blindness of the COVID-19 response and have gathered exposure&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/gallery\/2021\/mar\/09\/visualising-gender-during-the-pandemic-in-pictures\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in the national
