The Puffin Foundation’s first 2026 grant cycle (September 15th – November 21st) accepts applications for fine arts, music, and photography projects, with a second cycle for environmental artistic activism projects beginning February 13, 2026. Grants up to $3,500 are available to US residents with social security numbers or US-based non-profits. US citizens residing in or working on projects in other countries are eligible. The Foundation does not fund projects with budgets over $250,000, organizations with annual budgets over $250,000, travel, education, or book writing\/publishing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications begin with an online request form, after which applicants receive login details and full application instructions. Previous grantees must allow a one-year hiatus before reapplying. Applicants may submit only one proposal per year. Completed proposals are due by 5pm EST on Monday, December 8th, 2025. Applicants notified via email on a rolling basis. No status reports available during review process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
