Why can we not connect Zealous to our existing Stripe account we already have?

Although you may already have a Stripe account, you will need one specifically for Zealous if you decide to charge for submissions. We use a different type of Stripe account, which is called Stripe Express. This is beneficial as you keep your other financial activities separate to anything related to taking submissions with us. We also need to have authority over the account so you can issue refunds from within Zealous, and if you used your own account we would have authority over all your transactions which wouldn’t be safe.
