This is a graph which shows you what the average application journey looks like, and where most people are dropping out. For example, if lots of people are stopping their application are the form, then there is something in the application form which is confusing them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1406\" height=\"445\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9867 lazyload\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1406px) 100vw, 1406px\" data-src=\"https:\/\/zealous.co\/wpadmin2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/Applicant-Journey.jpg\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/zealous.co\/wpadmin2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/Applicant-Journey.jpg 1406w, https:\/\/zealous.co\/wpadmin2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/Applicant-Journey-300x95.jpg 300w, https:\/\/zealous.co\/wpadmin2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/Applicant-Journey-1024x324.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/zealous.co\/wpadmin2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/Applicant-Journey-768x243.jpg 768w\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are various different stages in the journey:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> <span style=\"font-size: revert\">Recommended &#8211; this number how many times it was shown via any Zealous channel, such as Explore and recommendation emails<\/span> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <span style=\"font-size: revert\">Guidelines &#8211; the opportunity may have been shown to many users but after reading the Guidelines, they may have not felt it was \u2018relevant\u2019 to them and organisers may see a drop between Recommended and Guidelines.<\/span> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <span style=\"font-size: revert\">Project &#8211; if the applicant gets passed the Guidelines, they will be on the Project step. A decline here may be that there is some confusion over what to submit<\/span> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <span style=\"font-size: revert\">Form &#8211; Form relates to the application form step, and a decline in numbers may be due to a lack of clarity over the questions set<\/span> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> <span style=\"font-size: revert\">Confirm &#8211; this is the final step. Applicants may wait to confirm until they have finalised their submission completely<\/span> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are wanting to get the most amount of applicants to the confirmation step, it is important to keep everything as simple as possible.
