This open call invites contemporary artists working across all media in the UK or internationally. The call seeks art engaged with emotion and human identity in relation to society and/or landscape, environment, plants and animals. Submissions should demonstrate boldness, risk and conviction, and explore the unique quality of their medium across drawing, painting, print, sculpture, photography, digital, performance, installation, or mixed media. Cross-disciplinary approaches and collaborations are encouraged.
The selection panel will shortlist up to 40 artists for inclusion in an exhibition in summer 2026 at The Rodd, Sidney Nolan’s former 17th-century home in rural Herefordshire near Presteigne. Artists may enter up to three artworks. £15 first entry, £10 additional.
