neo:artprize 2019
Neo:artprize is coordinated by neo in partnership with Bolton Museum. The exhibition will present over 50 artworks from 39 contemporary artists working across the world in a variety of media.
neo: is an artist-led not-for-profit gallery and studios with an experimental gallery programme incorporating exhibitions, events, talks, exchanges and residencies. The prize is an international, open exhibition, attracting submissions from 24 countries, aiming to raise awareness of new trends and directions in the contemporary art world.

New Artist Fair
The New Artist Fair is an artist-led art fair based in London, showcasing artwork from emerging and recently established artists from around the world.
As an artist-run organisation, the fair gives artists the opportunity to decide how their work is promoted and sold. The goal of the New Artist Fair is to make buying and selling artwork easier and more cost-effective for artists, art lovers and buyers alike.
This year, there will be a varied mixture of artworks at prices ranging from £50 to £2,000 with an aim to encourage people to invest in art while supporting new talented Artists. Alongside this, the fair has partnered with Art Experiences who will have live demonstrations from a selection of their featured artists.

Still I Rise
TRIBE//’s Still I Rise is performed by 5 daring female dancers, channelling the unapologetic nature of the poem by Maya Angelou. The piece plays on its powerful words, resonating with those who have experienced struggle and come out the other side. The performance is packed with emotive movement, cinematic scenes and a haunting cello accompaniment.

London Design Festival was conceived by Sir John Sorrell CBE and Ben Evans CBE in 2003. Building on London’s existing design activity, their concept was to create an annual event that would promote the city’s creativity, drawing in the country’s greatest thinkers, practitioners, retailers and educators to a deliver a imaginative celebration of design. 17 years later, this vision to promote London as the design capital of the world remains at the forefront of the event.
This year’s festival draws focus on climate change and urban functionality.
One of the landmark projects (major installations) will include British designer Paul Cocksedge’s Please Be Seated – an ambitious installation that is transforming Finsbury Avenue Square. The commission creates a space for people to sit, gather, seek shade and simply admire the imaginative beauty of the work.
