    It’s Nice That and DROOL are inviting artists to submit their work for representation and sale. Artists retain full ownership of their artwork but grant DROOL a temporary licence to produce, market, and sell their work, earning a 15% commission on sales (around 50% of profit). Each submission requires four to six jpg artworks. For digital artworks, high resolution jpgs are required with a recommended resolution of 12,000px on the longest side at 300dpi or minimum 9,900px on the longest side at 300dpi. For physical artworks (canvases or other physical works), originals must be a minimum of 16×20″ and artists must be willing to have these high resolution scanned. Submissions must include artist name, bio, contact details, and optional artwork description. Multiple submissions are allowed, provided each complies with the requirements. Shortlisted artists will have the opportunity to have their work produced, marketed and sold through DROOL.

    Tate Papers is seeking scholarly contributions exploring the role of art museum interpretation in serving audiences, artists and institutions. The call focuses on how museums can tell culturally inclusive stories of art and address complex expectations placed on them today. Contributors can examine challenges in museum interpretation practice, provide case studies on emerging practices, consider ethical justifications for new approaches, and explore how museums can achieve more equitable storytelling when discussing historically excluded artists. Areas of focus include sharing interpretive authority with artists and communities, presenting histories of radicalism and protest, and approaches that centre multiple perspectives.

    The Supporting Act Foundation offers 10 unrestricted Artist Grants of €10,000 each (transferred via monthly installments of €1,000) for emerging artists from underrepresented communities whose practices involve some form of collaborative, collective, or creative processes that incorporate or benefit their community. The grant aims to improve living conditions for artists and enable them to dedicate more time to developing their practice and increasing the visibility of their work. Applications are open to artists based in Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United Kingdom. In keeping with the Foundation’s commitment to trust-based philanthropy, all grants are unrestricted, meaning recipients are free to use the funding however they see fit. The Foundation prioritises emerging artists from marginalised groups and uses a lightweight application process.

  • The Abbey Harris Mural Fund

    The Abbey Harris Mural Fund makes grants of up to £7,000 to artists or organisations to create semi-permanent or permanent public murals or site-specific works on walls in any medium in the United Kingdom. Established in 1926, the fund supports serious and ambitious work with artistic rigour being the first criteria of selection. Artists and organisations based in the UK are eligible to apply for projects that include work on walls, floors, or ceilings in UK sites accessible to the general public with a minimum duration of 3 months. The Trustees, who are all artists themselves, study images and review the artist’s previous works, considering the audience for the project, its duration, and how the work relates to its site/demographic. Applications should include a project description, lead artist’s CV, budget, and 10 images.

  • Diasporas Now U.K. Tour 2025-2026: Macrocosmic Futures

    Diasporas Now, in partnership with the V&A, South London Gallery, Spike Island, and Primary, seeks proposals for six commissioned performances by Global Majority artists working in live art for a national tour under the theme of Macrocosmic Futures. The open call is for artists living and working in England who identify as Global Majority (at least 50% of collaborations/collectives must identify as Global Majority). Artists must be working across mediums suited for live performance including performance art, dance, visual art, and experimental music, with proposals of 20-30 minutes duration. Each selected commission will be awarded £1,050, performing over four evenings at UK arts institutions across Bristol (Spike Island), Nottingham (Primary), and London (V&A South Kensington, South London Gallery). All artists will receive AV, production, marketing, and curatorial support. Applicants must confirm in-person availability for specific performance dates in December 2025 and throughout 2026.

  • Cambridge Drawing Society: Autumn 2025 Exhibition

    Cambridge Drawing Society members may submit up to three framed works or sculptures, two unframed original artworks (up to A1 size), edition prints, greeting cards, and art books to this non-selective autumn exhibition. All submitted works are expected to be displayed, with over 800 visitors anticipated. Accepted media includes paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, mixed media, ceramics (non-domestic), and fine art textiles. Works must be produced within the last three years and properly framed according to CDS requirements. The exhibition runs from 26th October to 1st November 2025 at The Old Gym, The Leys School, with a public favourite vote where the winning artist will be featured across all publicity materials for the Autumn Exhibition 2026. A 33% commission applies to all sales, and members are expected to volunteer during the exhibition or pay a £30 non-helper fee.

  • Breaking Through The Lens Action Grant 2026 Application

    The BTTL Action Grant provides $10,000 funding to directors worldwide who experience marginalization due to their gender, including women, non-binary and trans directors with a feature film or documentary in late-stage development. The grant supports projects ready to go into production within a year, helping filmmakers advance in critical areas of development such as casting, location scouting, hiring crew or shooting scenes. Finalists become part of the 2026 BTTL Cohort, receiving 1:1 mentorship, curated financier meetings, and travel support to attend the Cannes Film Festival. All applicants receive free access to 2025 Workshop Recordings and the option to join the BTTL Membership Portal launching in December 2025.

  • The Open 2025: The People’s Exhibition

    Open 2025: The People’s Exhibition invites adult artists based in Leicester and the East Midlands to submit work for display at Leicester Museums & Galleries. The exhibition accepts all art forms, including painting, sculpture, textiles, and photography. Selected works will be showcased alongside pieces by young artists and community groups, offering a chance to be part of a diverse regional artistic community. Entry fees start at £20.50, with concessions available for students and those over 60. Prizes are provided by local businesses.     The Aesthetica Art Prize 2025 is an international competition celebrating contemporary art across various media, including painting, drawing, video, sculpture, installation, performance, photography, digital art, artists’ film, ceramics, illustration, and mixed-media. The prize offers £10,000 in cash, a group exhibition at a major public gallery, editorial coverage in Aesthetica Magazine, and a profile on the Aesthetica website. Artists can submit up to two works per entry, with a regular entry fee of £25. Late entries are accepted with a fee of £35. The exhibition is scheduled to run from 19 September 2025 to 25 January 2026 at York Art Gallery.

    The Unlimited Open Awards provide disabled artists based in England, Scotland, or Wales with funding to create, develop, and share new work across all artforms, including theatre, dance, music, visual arts, literature, and combined arts. Awards range from £15,000 to £80,000, supporting both early-stage ideas and projects nearing public presentation. Applicants can be individual professional artists or disabled-led companies aged 18 and over. The program aims to help artists make ambitious, high-quality work that reaches diverse audiences.

  • Immersive Arts Grant Programme 2025

    Immersive Arts is a funding and support programme for UK-based artists designed to help them develop their art using immersive technologies. Artists at all levels of experience are invited to apply through three funding strands: Explore (up to £5,000) for artists with little or no experience in immersive arts; Experiment (up to £20,000) for artists ready to test their work with audiences; and Expand (up to £50,000) for artists with immersive projects in development. You don’t have to be tech-savvy to apply – all you need is a curious mind and a creative practice. The programme has £3.6 million funding available between 2024 and 2027 to support over 200 UK-based artists. Applications can be submitted by audio, video or text, in English, Welsh, or British Sign Language.

  • Open Call for Public Artwork: Socially Engaged Artists

    Forest Lane Park Public Art Commission invites artists with the right to work in the UK to submit proposals for a new, permanent artwork that reflects the layered histories of Forest Lane Park in Newham, London. The commission honours the legacy of Lucel Tate, a midwife and community activist, and draws on themes of care, heritage, memory, and renewal. The selected artist will collaborate with the local community, particularly Afro-Caribbean communities, to co-create the artwork, ensuring the park’s uncovered histories are shared with future generations.

    The commission offers a budget of £37,500 to deliver the project, including artist fees, workshops, fabrication, and travel expenses. Three shortlisted artists will each receive £500 to support their proposal pitch. The installation will be located in a prominent area of the park, continuing the legacy of the original ‘Guardian’ statue, which was removed due to deterioration.

    This opportunity provides a platform for artists to engage with the community and contribute to the cultural heritage of Forest Lane Park.

  • British Art Prize 2025

    British Art Prize 2025 is an open competition welcoming artists of all levels – amateur, emerging, or professional—to submit their work. The prize offers a £2,000 cash award, a solo exhibition at Panter & Hall’s Cecil Court Gallery, a £750 Royal Talens art materials voucher, and a six-page feature in Artists & Illustrators magazine. Shortlisted artworks will be displayed at gallery@oxo in London from 26–30 November 2025, with a private view reception on 27 November. 

    The entry fee is £22 for the first artwork, with an additional £18 for each subsequent piece. Artists may submit up to 20 artworks. All entries must be framed and available for sale. AI-generated works are not eligible.

  • 2025 Ingram Prize

    The Ingram Prize is an annual award for visual artists within five years of graduating from a UK-based art school. The prize supports early-career artists by acquiring their work for The Ingram Collection and providing exhibition opportunities. Submissions of any size or media are accepted, and entry is free.

    Three artists will be selected as prize recipients. Their works will be added to The Ingram Collection, and one artist will receive a solo exhibition at Lightbox Gallery & Museum in 2026. Additional opportunities include the Founder’s Award, where one work is chosen for acquisition by Chris Ingram, and two artists will be selected to show their work at the London Art Fair 2026 VIP Lounge Exhibition.

    The competition is open worldwide with no age restrictions and accepts work in English on any theme.
