Glenn Max
Village Underground
Artistic Director of Village Underground, a 720-capacity art centre in London and the Founder & Director of Convergence, a cultural initiative that celebrates the intersection of music, art and technology. Since the late 90’s, Glenn Max has worked as concert producer and curator, first in New York at the Knitting Factory, then in London as Producer of the Contemporary Culture at the Southbank Centre, where he oversaw Meltdown and created, Ether. He has worked with many great artists including Sonic Youth, Patti Smith, David Bowie and Jarvis Cocker.

Founded Disquiet.com in 1996, which focuses on the intersection of sound, art, and technology. His book “Selected Ambient Works Volume II” was published by Bloomsbury as part of the 33 1/3 series.
He has written for Nature, The Atlantic, Down Beat, and others and is currently teaching a course he developed on the role of sound in the media landscape at the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
