  • The Cot Open: Artists Open Submission

    The Cot Open

    Exhibit your work at Weavers Cot, a 16th-century Grade II* listed estate in Kent, exploring the theme INSIDE | OUT – the sensation of stepping beyond oneself, out-of-body moments, dislocation, separation from time, identity or place. Open to artists aged 18 and over living in the UK or Ireland. Seeking bold interpretations across 2D and 3D media (literal, abstract, emotional or conceptual) that challenge perception.

    Distinguished guest judges Leila Alexander (Global Director at White Cube) and François Delage (collector), alongside curator Jemimah Patterson, will select twenty-five exceptional artists. Public selling exhibition runs 12th September to 4th October 2026. One outstanding artist awarded £1,000 prize for artwork that particularly successfully embraces the theme. Selected artists notified by 12th July 2026. Artwork delivery 30th-31st August 2026, exhibition preview 12th September, collection of unsold works 5th October.

  • Pop Art Exhibition Open Call 2026

    Sparks Gallery invites U.S. artists to submit bold, contemporary works for a Pop Art exhibition exploring themes like consumerism, media, and modern culture. Open to various media, selected works must be original and for sale. The show runs Aug–Oct 2026 and includes an opening event with collectors, offering strong exposure and networking opportunities. 

    Accepted media includes paintings, mixed media, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery. Submissions require artist statement (maximum 300 words) describing how work relates to Pop Art themes, artist bio (maximum 200 words), and artwork details. All artwork must be original, framed if needed, and ready for exhibition.

  • World of Animals Art Competition

    Megalopolitan Art Gallery

    Megalopolitan Art Gallery invites artists worldwide to submit their work for the upcoming online art exhibition World of Animals. Artists are encouraged to explore the world of animals through a wide range of perspectives, whether grounded in direct observation, inspired by ecological and environmental concerns, or expressed through abstraction and symbolism. Submissions may celebrate the beauty, diversity, and complexity of animal life, or reflect on the evolving relationship between humans and and the natural world.

    Interpretations can be literal or conceptual, realistic or experimental. All traditional and contemporary media are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, and experimental practices. The call is open to all artists aged 18 and older, regardless of location, and both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.

  • Yellow Art Competition 2026

    Artist Space Gallery

    Open to artists worldwide featuring the colour yellow or shades of yellow (beige, lemon yellow, canary yellow, golden yellow). All visual art mediums allowed. Jury will select award winners in painting, photography and sculpture categories. Works are judged on creativity, originality and quality of art, overall design, demonstration of artistic ability, and usage of medium.

    Application requires image upload (up to 2.0 MB), short biography, artist statement, and all required information. Images used only for marketing, promotion and display purposes for Artist Space Gallery shows. Artists retain all copyrights upon submission.

  • William Morris Art Futures Bursary: £10,000 Funding for Young Artists in Hackney and Waltham Forest

    House of Hackney announces The William Morris Art Futures Bursary, a new initiative supporting the next generation of artists in the London Boroughs of Hackney and Waltham Forest. Inspired by William Morris’s values of art for all and the transformative power of creativity, this bursary provides £10,000 funding for young people aged 16–25 with creative potential who face barriers to accessing education, training, materials, or mentorship.

    The £10,000 funding can be used to support education costs, training programmes, art materials, equipment, mentorship, or other resources needed to advance artistic practice. Applications for the 2026 bursary are now open, with successful recipients announced in Summer 2026.

    Grey Cube Gallery proudly presents the sixth Faces online art contest for the month of May 2026. Contest is open to all artists worldwide over 18 years of age. Only the face of a person or animal should be visible (single person, a group, or self-portrait). All visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed. Winning artwork (Best of Show) will be on the poster of the show. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. The deadline to submit entries is the 7th of May, 2026.
