Will I need to spend hours explaining how this works to my colleagues, applicants and judges?

What does an “opportunity” mean?
An opportunity is any initiative you are taking entries for – this could be an award, competition, residency, fair, job, etc. These will streamline your process of taking, managing and scoring entries.
What does a “submission” mean?
A submission is the same as an entry, an application, or a nomination. Submissions are counted against your quota once a candidate completes an entry for one of your opportunities. Draft submissions and submissions removed by candidates are not counted.
