Make Space studios is the creative home of a diverse range of artists, designers and creative businesses. Studio holders regularly engage with others in the community to learn and collaborate. They hold annual open studios, monthly socials and after work drinks. Make Space Online also provides artists with a platform to promote their work and upcoming shows.
SPACE Studios
SPACE currently runs 20 buildings across London and Colchester, providing affordable creative workspace for 800+ artists. SPACE also runs various support programmes, such as exhibitions, artists residencies, bursaries and training opportunities.
Artist Hive Studios
Artist Hive Studios’ mission is to provide a complete artist studio package equipped with individual units, workspaces, a gallery/installation space and concept development areas for performance art. The studio facilitates a networking centre that provides a catalyst of exchange for creatives, collectives and the local community.
Bow Arts
Bow Arts provides spaces at the lower end of the affordable studio sector. Their portfolio of spaces covers a range of different sizes and styles which meets the requirements of most practices.
Artists will have access to opportunities such as open studios and peer networks.
Wimbledon Arts Studio
Wimbledon Arts Studio provides 24/7 access 365 days a year. As part of their career development programme, the studio offers resident artists, alongside the wider community, opportunities to participate in workshops and seminars.
Artists are encouraged to open their studio doors and exhibit in the twice-yearly Wimbledon Art Fair (which attracts 8,000 visitors a year)!
Printmakers
London Print Studio
The studio offers open access facilities, one to one training and courses across all aspects of printmaking. Open-access sessions provide use of the presses and equipment and can be booked by anyone with prior experience.
Resources available for: etching including photo-etching, block printing (wood cut & lino), collagraph, stone lithography, photopolymer and water based screenprinting.
East London Printmakers
This not-for-profit, artist run studio is based in Mile End. The studio offers professional and affordable printmaking facilities for artists to discuss and exhibit their work, alongside a variety of courses and residency schemes.
Open Access is available for screen printing, etching and relief.
