Can I allow a free submission for a couple of participants?
Estimated reading: 1 minute
As a part of your open call process, you may want to allow free or discounted submissions from a handful of submitters without allowing them for the rest of the applicants. There is a way to do this:
-
Ask your submitters to create their submission, but for them to leave it as a draft. This would mean that they work up until the payment step.
-
Wait until your opportunity has closed.
-
Once your opportunity has closed and no one else can submit, create a new free or discounted submission fee package.
-
Unlock the submissions of the participants you are allowing to apply for a free or discounted price.
-
Let your participants know it is time for them to submit.
